I came here about 3 weeks ago and I never saw such a big slice and I do have to say it was very tasty! I am a New Yorker and I do know what a good pizza is! I can't say it was bad because it wasn't! I will say 1 slice was more than enough for me and the sauce was good! You won't waste your money, this is a good place for good pizza.

Overall this is not a bad spot at all, but there isn't much about it that really stands out from a lot of other casual Italian places.
They do have massive slices of pizza, and you can order whole pizzas in ridiculous sizes if you'd like. So they're unique in that they sell the biggest pizzas that I've ever seen.
The place seems clean and tidy, and the service in my experience is adequate for a super casual place. The menu has a good bit of variety from pasta to pizza to cheese sticks, garlic knots etc, so everyone should be able to get what they want.
Decent prices, but not the best, (definitely check the specials), the novelty of a massive slice of pizza, and a laid back sort of vibe. Not too bad at all.

It's a nice clean spot to eat. There's a traditional feel when you walk in. Pazzo s has a large variety of pizzas, calzones and salads. The portions are more than generous. I ordered the lunch special which came with a huge slice of pizza and a drink. I had enough pizza to last for dinner that night and breakfast from that one slice. I've definitely had better tasting pizza but I think the environment and service is what will draw me back. Overall it was a great experience and I'll definitely go back.

A major disappointment after having such high hopes. I ordered the overly expensive 26inch pizza thinking it would be a GREAT surprise for my family. The box came and the smiles were from ear to ear;  then we opened the box.  What I received was a big slice of pizza that was 23 inches long but varied from 10 to 5 inches in width, with unevenly cut "slices." I ended up having to order more pizza from another location to feed my family of 4.

This place would have potential if they trained their employees better and kept their food fresh and as described. It seems this place lacks the management and communication to make it more successful.

A slice described as "Big Slice" is enticing to all but it will only bring people in. Read on as to why this establishment can't bring them back.

My sister and bro in law had a not so pleasant experience here for Birmingham Restaurant Week.

The employees were completely unaware of what Restaurant Week was and had no idea they were even running a promotion with it. My sister had to pull up the website on her phone which was for a $15 lunch special that should include a salad, a large pizza and a cupcake.

Those of us who live in Birmingham and are foodies, this is the week we look forward to. A chance to try a place and eat some excellent hand picked foods by the owners and chefs. A separate menu is usually provided upon entrance to places participating.

In short, they had no idea what my sister was talking about and couldn't ring them up. They took her phone and showed the owner. He hastily came out and rang them up. In the process my sister forgot they had her phone which they should have never taken from her in the first place.

They stayed because they wanted to give them a chance and at this point thought it would be rude to leave after such a debacle to get them to understand they were apart of Restaurant Week. A huge part which included my sister speaking in Spanish to help them understand better.

Now on to the dining experience...

So the salads come out but the dressings were missing so they asked for what should have been Caesar dressing for the Caesar salads they ordered. The staff then brings out 2 containers marked with a C however both containers were filled with Italian dressing! Okay..

Then their pizza comes out. They said it was pretty good but it was the only thing as expected they had that day. The add alongs and the complete lack of awareness by staff made the pizza NOT worth it.

And to make matters worse while they were finishing their meal, a staff member brings my sister her phone, you remember the phone they took from her to see the promotion. My sister should have never given her phone to the staff but they took it from her to explain to the others and then forgot to return it! They did apologize but if they only knew about the promotion they were running for a week, this wouldn't have happened.

It doesn't end there, apparently the staff forgot to give them their cupcakes for dessert and so they asked for them. They came back and gave them the cupcakes. The cupcakes were hard and old like they had been sitting back there for sometime...ugh!

Customer satisfaction is key to keeping a business doing well. And although, they complied to what was asked, a customer should never walk into an establishment and feel like they have to guide their experience and even with all that guidance fall tremendously short with mistake after mistake.

I suggest this place take a few moments to reflect on improvement and consistency. A good management team communicates and evaluates. They care about what customers are saying. They invest in resources to maintain quality not only of food but of service.

I sincerely love and care about local establishments in Birmingham. Pazzo please do better. We want you to succeed in the future. Take some time to train your staff, check your food, maintain freshness and be prepared & professional.
